What is the Home Owners Association?
The Century Farms Home Owners Association is made up of all home owners in our subdivision. Each home is entitled to one vote. The Association as a group is required to meet once a year, to discuss common concerns and elect the Board of Directors (nine total directors each serving for three years).
The Association elects the Directors to carry out the duties and responsibilities as required in the recorded Declarations of Covenants and Restrictions and our Association By-Laws. These Covenants and Restrictions and By-Laws are binding, being sanctioned by the State of Michigan, on each home owner.

Since August of 1978, when the home owners officially took over the Association from the subdivision developer, those people who have served on the Board of Directors have accomplished a number of things. Yet you must realize that 9 homeowners cannot accomplish everything that may be asked by the 162 homeowners that make up of the Association. Your suggestions and comments are welcome. |
